Beetroot juice with chia seeds

Beetroot juice contains natural nitrates that can aid in vasodilation, contributing to blood pressure control. High blood pressure is considered a “silent killer” because it can cause many serious complications if not controlled well. Common complications include stroke, myocardial infarction, heart failure, chronic kidney failure, and eye damage.

Chia seeds are rich in fiber and plant omega-3s, which can support lipid metabolism and contribute to reducing inflammation to a certain extent. Both beets and chia seeds help increase feelings of fullness, thereby controlling weight. Maintaining a reasonable weight is one of the factors that help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Users can combine these two foods by soaking chia seeds in beetroot juice and using it as a snack.

Apple cider vinegar combined with honey

Honey contains several antioxidants that contribute to cell protection and support heart health. Apple cider vinegar helps control cholesterol and blood pressure, while also helping to increase the feeling of fullness after meals and control weight. When using a mixture of apple cider vinegar and honey, dilute it with water to reduce acidity and drink in small sips to avoid affecting your teeth.

People with stomach ulcers, esophageal reflux, hypokalemia, kidney failure or tooth enamel erosion should be cautious when using. The high acidity of apple cider vinegar has the potential to irritate the digestive tract and interfere with some medications.

Dark chocolate with green tea

Dark chocolate and green tea both contain flavonoids, especially flavan-3-ol. They may support heart health through improving blood vessel function and contributing to mild blood pressure stabilization. Dark chocolate can also affect neurotransmitters such as serotonin, helping to improve mood and reduce stress to a certain extent.

Green tea is rich in EGCG – an antioxidant that can boost metabolism and protect cells against oxidative stress. Some studies have also documented the benefits of drinking 2-3 cups of green tea per day on overall health.
