La Jornada: Second season of the Historia program announced, for whom?

The program History for whom?hosted by Natalia Luna and Tamara Aranda, produced by Mario Ledesma and Alma Lilia Martínez, is preparing for its second season, which will begin with a special program dedicated to conversations of the present and its historical anchoring. This project was born from a collaboration between the National Institute of Historical Studies of the Revolutions of Mexico (INEHRM) and Radio Educación.

In a press conference, the director of the INEHRM, Felipe Ávila Espinosa, assured: “it is a project that is getting stronger and that we have been working on since last year. The program is an effort from almost four years ago at the INEHRM, looking for what the story meant from the point of view of young women and turning them into protagonists, building their own story. The program is called that in response to the 40th anniversary of the book History for whatthat male scientists wrote and we wanted to turn that around and that women will take the reins of history. Today is women’s time.”

History for whom? It airs on Mondays at 12 noon on 96.5 FM and 1060 AM. The new season will also be presented on Capital 21. All programs can be consulted on the Radio Educación website.
