Clothing and home goods chain Fox introduces fees for packages

A paper bag in chain stores will cost 1 shekel, and a reusable fabric bag will cost 2 shekels. The new policy has not yet been introduced in all stores – some of them still provide plastic bags for free, but the chain said that this is a gradual process that will soon cover all its branches across the country.

“The Fox brand is working to reduce and eliminate the use of single-use plastic bags as part of a global trend and out of a desire to preserve the environment and reduce pollution,” the press service said in a statement.
