Elbit is modernizing the army of one of the European countries for .4 billion

The Israeli defense concern Elbit Maarahot announced the conclusion of a large contract with one of the European countries worth $1.4 billion.

The contract, designed for five years, provides for a comprehensive program for modernizing the armed forces of the customer country.

According to the release, the program covers a wide range of advanced solutions to enhance maneuverability and survivability on the battlefield. The list of supplied systems includes: autonomous unmanned systems, advanced electronic warfare systems, precision-guided munitions for artillery and air-ground strikes, electro-optical target designation and reconnaissance systems.

The complex is designed to transform the customer’s armed forces into a more modern and integrated force capable of operating in all areas of the combat space.
