The United States bombed strategic points in Iran as peace negotiations continue

According to what was commented by the spokesperson of the United States Central Command (CENTCOM)Timothy Hawkins, a CNN“US forces carried out self-defense attacks in southern Iran to protect our troops from threats posed by Iranian forces.”

More precisely, the spokesperson for the North American military entity indicated that these attacks were perpetrated against “Iranian vessels attempting to lay mines” and “missile launching sites.

Besides, Hawking did not hesitate to state that these actions continue within what was established within the “ceasefire” in force between both parties to the conflict:

“US Central Command continues to defend our forces as exercise restraint during the ongoing ceasefire.”

Shortly before hearing the reports of a new bombing, Trump assured that Tehran will give him its enriched uranium, one of the flashpoints that sparked the conflict in the Middle East.

“The enriched uranium (nuclear dust!) will be immediately delivered to the United States for repatriation and destruction or, preferably, in coordination with the Islamic Republic of Iran, destroyed on site or at another acceptable location, with the Atomic Energy Commission, or its equivalent, as a witness to this process”.

If what was announced is fulfilled, one of the biggest points of conflict between both countries would be closed.

Despite the new “self-defense attacks,” in a previous post, the American head of state detailed that contacts with the Iranians “are progressing well” and “will bring true power, strength and “Peace for the Middle East for the first time in 5,000 years.”
