The tests conducted on the text seem to confirm a cross-media presence of artificial patterns. Examining the document chapter by chapter, approximately 62% of the first part was identified as non-human, while a counter-check carried out by the American newspaper The Verge on a sample of approximately 2,000 words estimated a percentage of artificial generation of 46%. On the contrary, the analyzes applied to the texts of the previous encyclicals and to the transcription of the oral speeches of the current Pontiff have returned a 100% certainty regarding the human origin, highlighting a clear stylistic and editorial discontinuity in this latest publication.

Although the accuracy of detection tools is not absolute and the margins of error remain a constant variable in the sector, the company developing Pangram has declared an extremely low false positive rate, equal to only one case in ten thousand. The encyclical represents the formal channel with which the Holy See addresses the great moral challenges of the contemporary era and the choice of theme is not isolated, considering that Pope Leo XIV recently presented the document together with Christopher Olah, co-founder of Anthropic.
