The favorite to replace Guardiola on the bench is Enzo Maresca, who won the Conference League and the Club World Cup with Chelsea and knows City well, having been Sampedor’s assistant coach during the campaign in which the team won the treble in 2022-23. Despite this, the club has not publicly confirmed its interest in the Italian.
