Jordan and Saudi Arabia condemn Iranian attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain

Jordan’s Foreign Ministry condemned the Iranian attacks on Bahrain and Kuwait, saying they violate the sovereignty of both countries and threaten their security, stability and territorial integrity.

In a statement, the ministry said the attacks were a clear violation of international law and represented a dangerous escalation that undermined efforts to restore security in the region.

Saudi Arabia also said the Iranian attacks had undermined international efforts to restore stability in the Middle East.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry expressed Riyadh’s solidarity with Bahrain and Kuwait and said that Saudi Arabia fully supports any measures that these countries take to protect their sovereignty.

On Saturday, June 6, in the morning, Iran fired seven ballistic missiles towards Kuwait and Bahrain. The attack came hours after the US military successfully repelled a raid by four Iranian kamikaze drones.
