Three businesses poured more than 15,000 billion into the Da Nang Free Trade Zone

Da Nang approved Phuong Trang Company, Thanh Binh Phu My and Saigon – Da Nang to deploy 3 infrastructure projects in the Free Trade Zone with a total capital of more than 15,000 billion VND.

On June 11, the People’s Committee of Da Nang City approved the investment policy and investors for two functional area infrastructure construction and business projects at Location 3 and Location 4 in the Free Trade Zone (FTZ) of Da Nang.

At Location No. 3 in Hai Van ward, Phuong Trang Investment Joint Stock Company was chosen as the investor of a project with a scale of 500 hectares. The total investment capital of this project is more than 8,119 billion VND.

At Location No. 4 in Ba Na commune, Thanh Binh Phu My Joint Stock Company will invest in the FTZ Phu My 3 Da Nang Industrial Park project. The project has a scale of 335 hectares, total investment capital is 5,338 billion VND.

The maximum operating term of both projects is 70 years from the date of land allocation or land lease.

Previously, on June 4, the city also approved Saigon – Da Nang Investment Joint Stock Company to implement the functional area infrastructure project at Location No. 2. The project has a scale of 75 hectares, total investment capital of more than 1,568 billion VND, focusing on building logistics systems, warehouses, factories and international trade support services.

In addition to new projects, Location No. 5 of the Free Trade Zone has been launched since August 2025. This project is invested by Ba Na Cable Car Service Joint Stock Company (part of Sun Group), with a scale of about 90 hectares with a total estimated capital of more than 808 billion VND.

Currently, the city government continues to call for and select investors for the remaining locations including FTZ No. 1, FTZ No. 6 and FTZ No. 7. Da Nang also has a policy of researching and expanding this free trade zone to the South to create more room for development and form larger-scale functional areas.

Da Nang Free Trade Zone was established in June 2025, with a total scale of about 1,881 hectares, arranged in 7 non-adjacent locations. The project includes main functional areas such as production, logistics, trade – services, digital technology industry, information technology and innovation.
