Transfer ticker: Romeo Vucic is leaving Vienna Austria

Jacob Rasmussen leaves the FC Red Bull Salzburg and switches to the second German Bundesliga 1. FC Kaiserslautern. This means that the 28-year-old Dane’s time in Salzburg is coming to an end after around six months. He came up with remarkable things 32 missions in 35 possible Encounters (including the FIFA Club World Cup) before he plays for the sixth-place team in the second German Bundesliga.

Jacob Rasmussen: “I would like to thank FC Red Bull Salzburg for the past few months. It was only a short time, but I felt very comfortable at the club and in the city. The move to Kaiserslautern is an exciting new challenge that I am now looking forward to. I wish everyone at the club much success for the rest of the season!” Rasmussen had recently lost his regular place and had to give way to the youngsters Jannik Schuster and Joane Gadou.

Salzburg’s sports director Marcus Mann: “Jacob is a player with quality and a high level of professionalism. Even though his time with us was unfortunately shorter than originally planned, he always behaved in an exemplary manner and gave everything for the team. We would like to thank him for his commitment and wish Jacob nothing but the best, both in terms of sport and personally, at 1. FC Kaiserslautern!”
