Finns Jenni Judin and Reetta Hämäläinen won silver in the pro series pairs race at the hyrox World Championships in Stockholm on Saturday.
The duo’s time was 58.56, which was enough for second place in the 35-39 age group. The series in question was won by the Irish Maire McGinley and Scottish Rachel O’Connor at time 58.32.
In the overall race, the Finnish pair was in 12th place. The fastest time, 55.00, was made by the English Saskia Millard and Holly Archer.
A Finnish couple in the 25–29-year-old age group of the Pro series Rebecca Ehrnrooth–Pernilla Böckerman had to stop the race. There were also other Finnish couples in different age groups of the pro series.

Twin sisters Gambling and Hämäläinen published a picture from their return flight in the stories section of Instagram. In the photo, the duo poses with a bottle of sparkling wine.
“Wonderful reception on the Finnair plane when they noticed the medals when walking on the plane. Thanks to the captain and the entire crew for the congratulations,” the duo wrote on their joint Instagram account.
Judin and Hämäläinen have reaped success in the sport this year. They won gold in their age group at the European Championships held in London in March.
