Caputo reinforced his role as economic spokesperson with a battery of data and announcements

“The project will invest a total of US$ 4.5 billion and will generate approximately 800 direct and 1,000 indirect jobs,” Caputo said.

The minister stressed that “the Argentine countryside continues to break records,” reporting that agroindustrial exports reached 53 million tons exported between January and May.

This represented a growth in the first five months of the year of 18% in volume and 17% in value, for US$ 22,383 millioncompared to the same period in 2025.

The main complexes that explained this record growth were Sunflower; the Wheat; Fishing; Barley; Corn; Dairy; Sour Citrus; and Legumes. And the main sales destinations were Vietnam, Arabia, Brazil, China, Algeria, Indonesia, Egypt, Peru, Malaysia and India.
