The Teatro Real celebrates Opera Week with broadcasts of its productions in the “large open-air auditorium”

The Royal Theater The celebration of the eleventh edition of Opera Week will begin next Thursday, July 9, when it will offer broadcasts of its latest productions in the “great open-air auditorium” that is the Plaza de Isabel IIamong other activities.

Thus, until July 12, 1,100 chairs will be placed in the Madrid square to which the public will be able to access, in order of arrival, until capacity is reached.

On the first day the opera ‘Romeo and Juliet’ will be programmed, on July 10th it will be the turn of ‘Il Trovatore’ live, on the 11th the square screen will host ‘The Sold Bride’, and on Sunday, July 12th, ‘Swan Lake: The New Generation’.

Additionally, in celebration of this Week, Visitors will be able to access the Theater for free through the Plaza de Oriente and tour the stage box, the main hall, the boxes and the halls, emblematic spaces of the building.

Also throughout the week, through social networks and the Real’s website, you can participate in prize draws such as tickets for the operas ‘Il trovatore’, which closes this season, and ‘Manon Lescaut’, which will open next season, the great American dance company Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, the concert by the Spanish tenor Xabier Anduaga, shows from the Flamenco Real cycle, an annual subscription to My Opera Player, the video platform of the Teatro Real, and special visits to the Teatro Real.
