Iran asks to apply the pre-agreement with the US and warns that it will seek accountability for war crimes

The Iranian authorities have demanded this Friday to apply the pre-agreement reached with the United States to end hostilities in the Middle East, while warning that they will seek accountability for the war crimes committed against the Islamic Republic.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran emphasizes the full implementation of all the clauses of the agreement. Iran supports the 14 clauses of the agreement reached and underlines the importance of the full implementation of all of them,” said the president of the Iranian Parliament, Mohamad Baqer Qalibaf, after meeting with the president of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, visiting the country to participate in the funeral of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who died in the US bombings on December 28. The remains of the former supreme leader of Iran were transferred this Friday to the Great Mosalla Mosque in Tehran, ahead of the start of the ceremonies in his honor, which will begin during the day and will last until July 9.
