SHB is in the top 200 largest enterprises in Southeast Asia

Fortune Southeast Asia 500 (500 largest businesses in Southeast Asia) is Fortune’s annual ranking, evaluating businesses in 7 Southeast Asian countries based on revenue of the previous fiscal year. In this year’s rankings, SHB increased 20 places compared to 2025, marking the third consecutive year appearing on the list.

In 2025, SHB records pre-tax profit of VND 15,021 billion, up 30% compared to 2024 and exceeding the yearly plan by 4%. The cost-to-income ratio (CIR) is at 22.1%, among the lowest in the industry. According to the bank, this result comes from promoting digitalization of processes and application of technology throughout the system.

At the end of the first quarter of 2026, SHB’s pre-tax profit reached VND 4,656 billion, up nearly 7% over the same period and completing 26% of the year’s plan. Total net income reached VND 7,471 billion, an increase of 23.5%; Of which income from service activities reached VND 1,288 billion, an increase of 291%.

By March 31, 2026, SHB’s total consolidated assets reached 930,983 billion VND, an increase of 4.4% compared to the end of 2025. The bank aims to increase total assets to one million billion VND and increase charter capital to 58,786 billion VND.

In addition to Fortune’s rankings, SHB was also honored by Vietnam Report in the Top 10 prestigious Vietnamese commercial banks 2026 and Top 5 prestigious private commercial banks 2026. According to the organizing unit, results are evaluated based on financial capacity, operational efficiency, media presence and trust of customers and partners.

In recent years, SHB has been honored by many domestic and international organizations at prestigious awards such as “Bank with the Best Payment Solution Initiative in Vietnam” (The Asian Banker); “Best Bank for Public Sector Customers in Vietnam” (FinanceAsia); “Vietnamese bank with the best sustainable financing activities” (Global Finance), “Bank of the Year 2025” (The Banker); “Top 50 Best Enterprises in Vietnam” (Vietnam Report), “Top 100 Banks in the ASEAN region” (The Banker), “Top 500 banks with the largest brand value globally” (Brand Finance)…

This bank was also twice awarded the Second Class Labor Medal, the Third Class Labor Medal and many flags, certificates of merit from the Government, ministries, branches, unions and other noble awards.

The bank representative said that continuously appearing in the rankings demonstrates SHB’s financial capacity, operational efficiency and growth strategy in the right direction. At the same time, it creates a foundation to enhance the bank’s competitiveness on the Southeast Asian and international financial map.
