On the night of July 2-3, the bodies of three more victims were found in Kyiv from the ruins of an apartment building destroyed by a Russian strike, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported.
Thus, the total number of those who died as a result of the attack reached 30.
According to Timur Tkachenko, the head of the Kyiv city military administration, it is not possible to contact three more people. Search and rescue operations are ongoing.
On Thursday evening, Tkachenko said that the number of victims as a result of the attack reached 91.
Yesterday, as a result of the Russian attack on Kiev, the humanitarian warehouse of the Red Cross of Ukraine was completely destroyed, it became known from the organization’s Facebook page.
More than 320,000 units of humanitarian cargo and equipment with a total value of more than 79 million hryvnias (about 1.8 million US dollars) were burned.
Among the destroyed equipment are: generators, heat pumps, medical equipment, including defibrillators.
In addition, the strategic humanitarian reserve intended for emergency situations was burned, which included blankets, bedding sets, hygiene and sleeping bag sets, and other essential items.
The logistics center of the “Nova Poshta” postal-logistics company was also destroyed in Kyiv.
Attacks on civilian infrastructure can be considered a war crime under international humanitarian law.
Russia, for its part, claims that it targets exclusively military infrastructures on the territory of Ukraine.
Last night, Russian troops continued to attack different regions of Ukraine. According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during the night the country was attacked by 105 drones and air missiles. 85 drones and one missile were shot down or neutralized.
As a result of attacks in Dnipropetrovsk region, one person was killed and 13 others were injured.
In Krivoy Rog, an enterprise, educational institutions, apartment buildings, a shop and cars were damaged.
In the city of Lozova, Kharkiv region, an unmanned aerial vehicle hit the territory of a private house, as a result of which six people, including three children, were injured.
Sumi region was also attacked. An unmanned aerial vehicle hit a residential house in the Romney community. According to Oleg Grigorov, head of the regional military administration, four people were killed: two women, an elderly man and a small child.
