Hanoi Construction Corporation suspended the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors

Hancorp – a member of the joint venture to build Long Thanh airport terminal – has just temporarily suspended Mr. Dau Van Dien from the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The above decision was reported by Hanoi Construction Corporation (Hancorp) to the Hanoi Stock Exchange (morning of July 1).

Accordingly, Mr. Dau Van Dien was suspended from the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hancorp from June 29 until a replacement decision is made. Hancorp did not give a reason for this suspension.

Mr. Dien was born in 1968 and holds a master’s degree in business administration. He joined Hanoi Construction Corporation in 2014. He became Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hancorp in March 2021.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Cuong, member of the Board of Directors and Deputy General Director, was temporarily assigned to be in charge of Hancorp’s Board of Directors.

Hancorp is an enterprise under the Ministry of Construction established in 1982. In 2014, Hancorp converted to a joint stock company model with a charter capital of more than 1,410 billion VND. Two years later, Hancorp’s HAN shares registered for trading on UPCoM.

Currently, this company operates in the fields of real estate, construction, investment, services and industrial production. Hancorp is also one of 10 members of the Vietur consortium participating in the 35,000 billion VND bidding package to construct and install passenger terminal equipment at Long Thanh international airport.

By 2025, Hancorp will have more than 4,000 officers and employees. Total assets by the end of 2024 will reach VND 6,430 billion. Average revenue in the period 2020-2024 reaches about 3,500 billion VND per year.
