Volleyball: Red cards were handed to Nokia – Finland took the place in the final of the European League

Men’s the national volleyball team continued its winning streak on Wednesday evening in Nokia’s ball arena.

Finland defeated Denmark 3–1 in the second semifinal of the Europa League (22–25, 25–22, 25–19, 25–22) and advanced to the finals with a 2–0 victory.

As many as 2,016 spectators were watching the exciting play.

The fight was hot. The Spanish referee removed Denmark’s konkar passar Axel Jacobsenin from the field to the locker room in the middle of the third period. The Finns had to look at the red card for those who were in the corner Antti Ronkainen and Niklas Breilin and was on the field Fedor Ivanov.

The Volleyball Nations League is played every year. The world’s 18 best national teams are included.

Finland has played eight matches in the European League this summer and won all of them. There are only five set losses.

Only a year ago, two series were played in Europe. The national teams were divided according to level into the Golden and Silver leagues. These were combined into the European League this summer.

Finland celebrated the Golden League championship for the first time and is now defending this victory.
