Heino is suing against AfD election advertising

The posts with the saying have long been offline; after proceedings began at the Neuruppin regional court in April, the AfD Uckermark issued a cease-and-desist declaration, according to the court. It thereby undertakes to refrain from such advertising in the future. But that’s not enough for Heino: the AfD Uckermark’s personal rights and trademark rights were violated by the 87-year-old, his manager Helmut Werner told the German Press Agency. Previously it had Märkische Oder newspaper reported.

Basically, Heino defends himself against the appropriation of his person for political purposes, said Werner. The AfD election advertising is a breeding ground for Heino to be placed in the right-wing political corner, where he does not belong. The manager went on to say that the lawsuit was a “very clear signal against unauthorized election advertising with well-known faces.” It is also being examined whether legal action will be taken against the AfD politician himself.
