The price of electricity will remain low on Friday

The average hourly price of exchange electricity for consumers will remain low on Friday. The highest price of the day is five cents per kilowatt hour at 1 p.m. At other times, the price ranges between two and a good four cents.

The hourly prices stated in the article are averages calculated from the four quarter-hour prices for each hour. The electricity exchange Nord Pool switched to 15-minute pricing from the beginning of October 2025.

The price level is close to the typical hourly price of about four cents. Hourly prices below five cents occur about half of the time, so this is a very common price level.

The price of electricity was also low on Thursday. The highest price of the day, four cents per kilowatt hour, will be seen at 8 p.m.
