Despite the majority: GAK can’t get past a draw against WAC

The 49-year-old should take care of the next development steps. Against the WAC it was already clear where the journey should go – even if the Styrians not the desired result were able to enter. The GAK dominated the game from the start numerous opportunitiesbut came across a 0:0 not out.

GAK misses chance after chance

The Graz team could have taken the lead early. In the 3rd minute, Hofleitner got a header, but WAC goalie Gütlbauer parried. A little later the Carinthians weakened themselves: Wimmer was the last man to play the ball with his hand – Rot (15.).

The GAK pressed for the lead in the majority. A Michorl free kick went to the Rod and was clarified at the last moment. (18th). Hofleitner was also unlucky: his header was missed saved on the line (36.). Shortly before the break they finally prevented Latte Graz took the lead when Klassen only hit the aluminum (45th). The opening goal for GAK was in the air, but the game went into the locker room goalless.

Even after the break, Graz pushed the WAC in behind, Michorl failed again on the pole (79.). However, the Styrians’ big final offensive failed to materialize.
