Jakirović after the new celebration: ‘Everything is new to me, we will be even better’

Anchorsć revealed that this is exactly the kind of development he expected in the finale. He estimated that Coventry would have to open up the game and leave more space behind the backline, which Hull tried to use in transition.

– As hosts, they tried to take even more risks. Frank tried to make changes. At halftime, we had problems with our physical condition and injuries. We knew that they would take more and more risks and that there would be a lot of space behind their back line. We took advantage of that.

Two victories at the start of the championship gave Hull an ideal basis for the continuation of the season, but Jakirovć is aware that his team has not reached its best version yet. That is exactly why he expects additional progress as the season progresses.

– We will grow from game to game. This is a new experience for us, and even for me. We will try to fix some things and maybe play even better.
