Helen’s giant investment is soon to come – the price will rise to more than a billion

Helen’s CEO Olli Sirkka promises that the company will make an investment decision on the SMR power plant before 2030. This year, the plan is to choose a plant supplier for the nuclear power project, with whom the investment project will be taken forward.

“For a company the size of Helen, it is impossible to continuously maintain the current pace of investment, and the pace will be slowed down. After all, we have a small nuclear power plant (SMR) investment in the billions ahead of us, for which we need to gather our strength in order to get to the last big step towards non-burning energy production,” Helen’s CEO Olli Sirkka tells Kauppalehti.
