The Finnish Ice Hockey Museum selected six new Ice Hockey Lions

The nobility of the Ice Hockey Museum chose the players Marko Anttilan, Valtteri Filppula, Juuso Hietanen, Tomi Kallion and Sami Lepistönas well as influencers Jukka Toivakan.

They will be attached to the museum’s Ice Hockey Lions wall as numbers 287–292.

Anttila won Olympic gold and two World Championship golds in his career. Filppula reached Stanley Cup, Olympic gold and World Cup gold. Hietanen’s achievements include Olympic gold and World Championship gold.

Lepistö was part of the team that won the Finnish World Cup gold in 2011.

Kallio played more than 1,000 League matches in his career and won two Finnish championships.

Jukka Toivakka has had a long career as an influencer in Finnish ice hockey.

Sari Salmela was awarded the Yrjö Salminen Lifetime Achievement Award.

The museum on the website it is said that six names are the maximum number that can be ennobled in a year. The gallery of honor has been held since 1985.

Former NHL hockey player Prank Numminen acts as the chairman of the selection committee.
