Mr. Do Quang Vinh left the Board of Directors of Vietravel Airlines

The above information was announced by Saigon – Hanoi Securities (SHS), an enterprise with Mr. Do Quang Vinh as Chairman of the Board of Directors, on September 24. SHS said Mr. Vinh stopped being a member of the Board of Directors of Vietravel Airlines from August 18. He also does not hold any shares in this airline.

Mr. Vinh joined the Board of Directors of Vietravel Airlines in April 2025 – at the same time his younger brother Do Vinh Quang became Chairman of Vietravel Airlines. At that time, Vietravel Airlines consolidated its senior management after related businesses of T&T Group became strategic shareholders at the airline.

Born in 1989, in addition to his leadership role at SHS, Mr. Do Quang Vinh is also currently Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Deputy General Director of Saigon – Hanoi Bank (SHB). He graduated with a master’s degree in Finance and Management from the University of East Anglia (UK), joining SHB since 2011.

After the participation of T&T, Vietravel Airlines gradually expanded its scale. On September 21, the airline just received an additional A321 aircraft to increase its fleet to 5 aircraft.

Previously, Vietravel Airlines also signed an agreement to purchase 50 Airbus Group aircraft, expected to begin delivery in 2029. Specifically, the airline belonging to T&T Group will buy 20 A220s and 30 A321s (including two versions A321neo and A321XLR).

Currently, Vietravel Airlines operates a domestic flight network connecting major cities in the country and maintains a number of regular international routes to Bangkok (Thailand) and Shenzhen (China). The airline plans to continue adding more aircraft from now until the end of the year to increase the scale to about 80 – 90 flights per day.
