Harry Kane renews with Bayern Munich until 2029

This Thursday, English striker Harry Kane extended his contract with Bayern Munich until June 30, 2029, a contract that extends his current one by two seasons and with which the recently proclaimed best player in the world by France Football magazine will be able to continue increasing his brilliant statistics, which so far are 156 goals in 161 games.

The Bavarian club and the captain of the English team joined forces in the summer of 2023, the date on which the striker landed in Munich. In addition, Harry Kane has scored 156 goals in the 161 official matches played to date with the FC Bayern shirt at national and international level, and last week he was awarded the Ballon d’Or.

Harry Kane noted after his renewal that he feels “at home” at FC Bayern. “I love the club and the city of Munich. We have an incredible team and, with Vincent Kompany, a fantastic coach. I feel proud to be part of this club. My whole family is very happy here, I wanted to stay, I am looking forward to the future and I want to continue winning titles with this great club,” he added.

For his part, the president of FC Bayern, Herbert Hainer, highlighted that Kane’s transfer is a “very special” transfer in the history of FC Bayern. “Harry Kane has exceeded all expectations in football, and already has a very special place in the hearts of fans as the great sporting personality of our time that he already is. Today is a very special moment for FC Bayern,” he explained.

With FC Bayern, Kane has won, in addition to many titles, the award of top scorer in the Bundesliga every season played. In addition, he was named Germany’s best player in 2026, and on two occasions – 2023-24 and 2025-26 – he has achieved the Golden Boot as Europe’s top scorer. Last summer he guided the English team to third place in the World Cup held in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
