It was one of the first videos to go around the world, shortly after the early morning of October 7thr hundreds of Hamas terrorists from the Gaza Strip crossed the border into Israel and indiscriminately killed, mistreated and took civilians hostage.
Filmed by the barbarians themselves, the video shows a young woman being violently dragged from the back of a black jeep amid shouts of “Allahu Akbar.” Injured, tied up, with bloody pants – and an unbelievable fear in his eyes. While several men are forcing her back into the car, an ambulance drives past her. But he doesn’t stop.
Now she has been identified: The woman who had to suffer all this, who is not sure where she is, how she is doing and whether she will ever come home again, is 19-year-old Naama Levy.
Naama studies diplomacy and chemistry, plays tennis in her free time and recently began her military service in the Israeli army. But there has been no trace of the young woman for three weeks.
Friends and family are deeply concerned. Recently, Naama and her friends sat and laughed together at a picnic in Yarkon Park in Tel Aviv. Naama’s friends describe her as a good friend, strong, true to herself and someone who can always put a smile on their faces.
All of Israel hopes that the young Naama will be freed alive as quickly as possible and will finally come home again. Just like the other over 200 hostages who are still in the hands of the Islamists.
