Gulf stocks' performance varies…and the Saudi index declines again

GCC stocks mixed on Wednesday.

In the UAE, the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange index fell 0.4% to 8,965.81 points, while the Dubai Securities Exchange index rose 0.18% to 4,006.07 points.

The main market index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (TASI) fell by 0.63% to 11,656.35 points, with trading valued at 5.4 billion riyals.

The volume of shares traded amounted to 280 million shares, shared in more than 470 thousand transactions.

The general market index on the Kuwait Stock Exchange fell 0.73% to 6,927.11 points. The volume of shares traded amounted to 134.8 million shares through 13,374 cash transactions worth 44.5 million dinars.

The Bahrain All Share Index fell by 0.09% to 2033.92 points, through trading of 693685 shares worth 225353 dinars.

The Qatar Stock Exchange index rose 0.44% to 9,871 points, and the trading volume in the market amounted to approximately 504 million riyals.

Muscat Stock Exchange 30 index rose 1.64% to 4673.53 points. Trading value reached 1.56 million riyals.

Outside the Gulf region, the Egyptian Stock Exchange index “EGX 30” rose 0.87% to 27,500.56 points.
