Valoe's general meeting was left halfway through – The time of the follow-up meeting will be announced later

A solar technology company undergoing restructuring Valoen the general meeting was organized today in Mikkeli.

The general meeting decided that the company’s current board, Hannu Savisalo, Ville Parpola, Tuomas Honkamäki and Iikka Savisaloform the board this year as well.

In addition, the general meeting gave Valoe’s board of directors the authority to decide on new share issues. The authorization is valid until July 2025.

Follow-up meeting later

According to the invitation to the general meeting, the general meeting should also have discussed last year’s financial statements of Valoe, confirmed the result of the last financial year, decided on the distribution of dividends and granted discharges from liability for the last financial year. However, decisions about these could not be made at the general meeting, as Valoe currently does not have an auditor.

Valoe’s previous auditor resigned in December 2023, and the company has not yet chosen a new auditor to replace him.

“It was decided to suspend the company meeting and the processing of the aforementioned issues, as well as the decision on the auditor’s fee and the selection, were postponed to the next meeting. The company’s board of directors will convene a follow-up meeting at a time to be announced later,” the general meeting decision states.

Valoe is currently undergoing restructuring, the details of which have been reviewed by Kauppalehti in an article published earlier today.
