Armenia is moving along the path of democratic development, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said at the meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Elmedin Konakovic.
“We want to have a developing economy with leading technologies, as well as to be involved in projects aimed at increasing regional connectivity. These goals bring us closer to the EU and also increase the opportunities for cooperation with the Balkan countries,” Minister Mirzoyan said, according to the MFA.
Minister Mirzoyan informed Elmedin Konakovich about Yerevan’s priorities in the development of the new RA-EU partnership agenda, joint steps with partners in the direction of strengthening Armenia’s resilience.
The head of the foreign political department of Armenia presented the “Crossroads of Peace” program and the advantages to be provided in case of its implementation for both the economy and regional stability. In this context, Minister Mirzoyan presented the challenges in the South Caucasus, the importance of negotiating a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
