Keshet: Patients from intensive care units in northern Israel transferred to hospitals in the center of the country

According to the Keshet TV channel, patients in the intensive care units of hospitals located in northern Israel have been transferred to hospitals in the center of the country in preparation for a possible war with Hezbollah.

The article on the Mako website stresses that hospitals in the north are undergoing a process of redistributing patients in serious condition and requiring intensive care, including those patients who are connected to ventilators.

The publication says that the transfer of patients is explained by the fact that the Ziv, Poriya and HaGalil hospitals are relatively small, and the health system is trying to relieve them in case of an escalation of the conflict with Hezbollah. The patients were transferred to the Sheba hospital in Tel Hashomer, Ichilov in Tel Aviv and Rambam in Haifa.

The news service of the Keshet TV channel cites a response received from the Ministry of Health, which states that this is a step related to the preparation of the health care system and hospitals for a possible deterioration in the security situation in northern Israel.
