Ben Affleck and Matt Damon reunite in Netflix thriller

The two actors, friends in real life and accomplices on film sets, will play together in a film entitled RIP which will be broadcast on the American platform.

They have been friends since their teenage years and have been triumphing in cinema since 1997, when Will Hunting, which they had co-written, had received the Oscar for best original screenplay. Today, after numerous joint appearances on screen, no less than ten (Dogma, The Last Duel, Father and daughter, The sum of All Fears, A hell of a ride…), Ben Affleck and Matt Damon will once again star together in a thriller called RIP under the direction of Joe Carnahan (The Territory of Wolves). This film, and this is not a detail, will be financed by Netflix and should therefore be a strong appeal product for the American platform.

For now the synopsis of RIP remains secret. But knowing the work of American director Joe Carnahan we can legitimately expect a strong plot as he liked to do in films like Starting Price where Ben Affleck already appeared or again The Territory of Wolves in which the hero, played by Liam Neeson, had to protect workers from an oil company in Alaska against a pack of wolves.

Will Hunting by Gus Van Sant in 1997, with Robin Williams, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Minnie Driver…

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, friends for almost a lifetime, enjoy working together by acting and co-writing screenplays. In addition to the famous Will Hunting who revealed them, they also designed the plot of the Last Duel by Ridley Scott. A reference.
