Azerbaijani officials and the Israeli company Aeronautics are discussing the possibility of expanding the joint production of combat drones.
According to the Interfax-Azerbaijan news agency, this issue was discussed by the Minister of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan, Madat Guliyev, and the head of the Israeli company Aeronautics, Moshe Elazar, at the IDEX-2023 international arms exhibition-conference held in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
“Thoughts were exchanged on the expansion of cooperation in the field of joint production of UAVs,” the department said in a statement.
Guliyev also met with the Minister of Defense of Morocco, Abdelatide Loudi, and discussed the issue of developing the ties between the two countries in the military-technical field.
The IDEX-2023 international arms exhibition-conference, which opened in Abu Dhabi on February 20, will end on February 24.
