Acer Introduces New Predator Orion 7000 PCs, Featuring NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPUs to Elevate Gaming

Acer has presented its new gaming equipment, including the Predator Orion 7000 desktop PCs, which feature high-performance features to elevate gameplay thanks to the power of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU and next-generation Intel processors.

The company has announced its latest developments in the gaming sector at the IFA framework (Consumer Technology and Electronics Fair) 2024, which will take place from Friday, September 6 to Tuesday, September 10 in Berlin (Germany), including its new gaming equipment and smart monitors.

In this sense, Acer has presented the new Predator Orion 7000 desktop computer, which the company defines as a “gaming monster” since, in addition to integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) support, it offers performance driven by next-generation Intel processors.

This PC is powered by an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 GPU that, with AI-powered DLSS, delivers a power output of 1321 AI TOPS. It also features the patented Predator CycloneX 360 cooling system, which uses an advanced 3-in-1 fan configuration to efficiently expel heat from critical areas, plus a liquid CPU cooler to keep vital components cool and maximize performance.

It also features ultra-fast connectivity powered by Thunderbolt 4 and WiFi 7 and boasts up to 4TB HDD storage, a 6TB PCIe M.2 NVMe SSD, and an SSD swap slot for expansion, allowing you to store a vast amount of game titles.

ACER NITRO V 14 AND V 16 COMPUTERS

The technology company has also presented the new Acer Nitro V 14 laptopwhich has been designed for those users looking for high performance when playing video games, without sacrificing elegance, portability and affordability.

This is due, in part, to its pearlescent finish and blue-green lighting, which combine an “impactful” aesthetic with comfort when it comes to transporting it and using it in any environment, given its compact size and weight of 2.5Kg. Likewise, its 14.5-inch screen reaches a refresh rate of 120 Hz, an overdrive response time of 3 ms and offers compatibility with the 100 percent sRGB color gamut.

In terms of performance, it is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU with power of up to 194 AI TOPS. It also offers up to 32 GB of DDR5 memory and a PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD of up to 2 TB.

Additionally, Acer has highlighted that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU for laptops is backed by Nvidia’s RTX AI platform, with over 600 games and applications. This way, users can take advantage of Nvidia’s RTX AI ecosystem for computing, as well as enhanced gaming capabilities such as AI-powered DLSS 3.5 technology for high frame rates.

On the other hand, Acer has presented the Acer Nitro V 16designed specifically for students, entry-level gamers and multimedia enthusiasts, since, as detailed, it allows you to carry out all kinds of productivity tasks and multimedia applications. To do so, it has a 16-inch screen with a high resolution and a refresh rate of up to 180 Hz.

The Acer Nitro V 16 is also configured with an Intel Core i7-14650HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 laptop GPU. It also features up to 32GB of memory and up to a PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD of up to 2TB. All of this makes for a gaming laptop capable of tackling today’s latest applications and games with ease.

The Acer Nitro V 14 computers have been launched for 1,199 euros and the Nitro V 16 for 1,449 euros.

MONITORES GAMING NITRO UILTRASPEED

In addition to gaming computers, Acer has presented its latest developments in screens and monitors for video games, among which it has highlighted the New Nitro UltraSpeed ​​monitorsdesigned to offer improved gameplay with additional features and immersive experiences.

These monitors have been presented in 27- and 24-inch sizes, all of them compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium technology to guarantee “greater frame fluidity, reducing screen flickering to a minimum.”

Specifically, Acer has introduced three versions of the Nitro UltraSpeed ​​monitors. One of them is the Nitro XV240 F6 24 inchwhich has been referred to as “one of the fastest gaming displays currently available.” That’s because it’s an FHD resolution monitor with a 600Hz refresh rate and a G-to-G response time of up to 0.1ms.

On the other hand, the model Nitro XV270 F5 is a 27-inch monitor which features an FHD (1920×1080) IPS panel with a 520Hz refresh rate and 0.5ms GaG response time. It also has a peak brightness of 400 nits.

The third model presented was the Nitro XV270U F5 which, also 27 inchesfeatures a WQHD (2560×1440) IPS display with a 500Hz refresh rate, up to 0.5ms G-to-G response time, and 250 nits brightness.

Acer has launched the Nitro UltraSpeed ​​monitors for 899 euros for the XV240 F6 model, 799 euros for the XV270U F5 model and 699 euros for the XV270 F5 model.

NEW PREDATOR GAMING MONITORS

Continuing with gaming monitors, Acer has expanded its gaming line with two new 27-inch monitors, such as the Predator XB273U F5 and the Predator XB273K V5designed with cutting-edge technology to display video games in the highest quality.

The Predator XB273U F5 monitor is equipped with a 360Hz WQHD panel and the new NVIDIA G-SYNC Pulsar technology, which enhances video game viewing “for even the most demanding gamers” with smooth, dynamic frames. All of this offers four times more effective motion clarity and fluid gameplay.

The Predator XB273K V5 monitor, meanwhile, features a 4K UHD display with a 160Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync Premium technology to display crisp details and motion. It also allows gamers to choose a higher refresh rate option that reaches 320Hz at FHD resolution.

Both monitors feature ultra-fast response times of up to 0.5ms to reduce motion blur and ensure objects are displayed in crystal-clear detail. They also feature IPS panels that offer 178-degree viewing angles to ensure consistent image quality from any position. In terms of connectivity, they feature two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4.

Acer has indicated that the Predator XB273K V5 monitor will be available in Spain from the fourth quarter of 2024, starting at €699.

ACER AND NITRO SMART MONITORS

Finally, Acer has unveiled its new Acer CS322QK and Nitro GS272U smart monitorswhich integrate the built-in WebOS operating system to work, browse and play without having to use a laptop or connect to another device. As the company has pointed out, these monitors also offer compatibility with WiFi and BlueTooth, as well as Airplay and Miracast to mirror the screen.

On the one hand, the Acer CS322QK smart monitor has a 31.5-inch screen with 4K UHD IPS resolution and a brightness of 350 nits. The Nitro GS272U smart monitor, on the other hand, has a 27-inch screen and offers a WQHD resolution (2560×1440) and a refresh rate of up to 180 Hz. Thus, users will be able to purchase the Acer CS322QK smart monitor from 899 euros and the Nitro GS272U for 599 euros.
