The technology brand Honor announced in IFA 2024the Berlin technology fair that is celebrating its 100th anniversary, its Magic V3 book-style foldable, one of the thinnest in the world, as well as the MagicBook Art 14 laptop, the MagicPad 2 digital canvas and the Watch 5 health tracker. The Chinese firm also announced new hardware capabilities thanks to artificial intelligence.

During the presentation in IFAMatt Waldbusser, general manager of global AI solutions and consumption at Google Cloud, said the Honor Magic V3 incorporates Google AI models and Cloud technology to experiment with new possibilities with AI.
The thinnest foldable
Honor consider the Magic V3 as the world’s thinnest foldable phone with greater durability, also highlighted by the battery, display and AI experience.
With a folded thickness of 9.2mm and an ultra-light body of 226g, the Honor Magic V3 becomes one of the most competitive in the technological market. It has an octagonal dome-shaped, diamond-cut camera module.

The Magic V3 incorporates a special fiber in its body material, enhancing durability. Additionally, the device can withstand up to 500,000 folding cycles with the Super Steel Hinge and has earned the prestigious SGS Durability Certification. It has been fortified with the Super Armored Inner Display and the scratch-resistant NanoCrystal Shield.
Equipped with a 6.43-inch external display and a 7.92-inch foldable internal display, the Magic V3 offers an immersive dual-user experience. This device incorporates a variety of eye-comfort features, such as AI blur display technology, 4,320Hz risk-free PWM dimming, dynamic dimming, circadian night display, and natural tone display.
In addition, the Magic V3 is equipped with an advanced third-generation 5,150mAh Silicon-Carbon battery, supported by 66W wired and 50W wireless charging SuperCharge technology, ensuring a smooth and worry-free mobile experience for users.
With the Honor Falcon camera system that includes a 50MP periscopic telephoto camera, a 50MP main camera and a 40MP ultra-wide-angle camera, the device promises image quality and versatility.
The Magic V3 offers a host of smart features, including the Magic Portal on foldables, along with on-device AI-enabled photography features such as AI Motion Sensing for quick captures and the Honor AI Portrait Engine.
In collaboration with Google Cloud, Honor enriches a range of productivity features backed by Google AI models and Cloud technologies to enable users to improve their overall efficiency, including AI Eraser, face-to-face translation, and translation tools in Notes.
The new foldable phone will have a global price of 1,999 euros. It is not yet known if it will arrive in our country.
The technology firm has also presented the MagicBook Art 14, powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor; the MagicPad 2, with a 12.3-inch screen; and the Watch 5, with a 1.85-inch AMOLED screen.
