What is the difference between iPhone 16 Pro Max vs. iPhone 16?
Overall, the winner is the iPhone 16, as it brings together the largest number of new features from the company and can be adapted to the widest variety of users. For example, one of the functions that received the most attention in the presentation is the Camera Control function, which has some new features for taking photos.

As for the chip, in the case of the iPhone 16 we are talking about the A18, which has a 6-core CPU. Two of them are dedicated to performance and 4 to efficiency. The GPU has 5 cores. For the iPhone 16 Pro Max, the A18Pro chip has been given, where the difference is in the GPU, which consists of 6 cores. That is, its graphics will be faster, more efficient, at least on paper. This could be beneficial for video games or when working on video.
There are other obvious differences, such as the screen size, where the iPhone 16 Pro Max is larger by 0.8 inches. There’s also the material, where the iPhone 16 is made of aluminum while Apple reserves titanium for its most advanced (or expensive) version.
Both devices will also feature Apple Intelligence, the new generative artificial intelligence feature that Apple is launching and will be updated in the coming months.
That is to say, on the one hand there are features that will make the iPhone 16 Pro Max a much more premium device and usable for some activities (such as video production, photo editing, etc.), but that most users can also find in the iPhone 16, since it brings together the essence of the line.
