All flights also cancelled at Charleroi airport on Friday

As the management announced on Thursday evening, all flights have been cancelled at Brussels South Charleroi Airport on Friday. The airport’s website shows that no flights are departing or arriving on Friday morning.

On Thursday, the joint union front started a strike. The unions speak of a “general feeling of dissatisfaction” among the staff about the working conditions. A consultation meeting is planned for Friday morning between the airport management and the unions. The management hopes to reach an agreement.

Passengers who had a flight today will be contacted by their airline. For questions, rebookings or refund requests, passengers should also contact their airline and not go to the airport.
