India begins second round of recruitment for workers for Israeli construction sites and nursing homes

The second round of selection for construction workers and caregivers wishing to work in Israel has begun in the city of Pune in the Indian state of Maharashtra.

In total, it is planned to select 10,000 construction workers and 5,000 care workers.

In the first round, around 11,000 workers were selected in the states of Telangana, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

Care workers must have a certificate from a recognised educational institution indicating that they have completed at least 990 hours of training.

The selection of candidates is carried out by a delegation from the Israel Population and Migration Authority and representatives of the construction contractors association.
