Forbes magazine has published its annual list of America’s richest people. Elon Musk, the founder of SpaceX, the head of Tesla, and the owner of the social network X, was once again recognized as the undisputed leader of the rating and the richest person not only in the United States, but throughout the world.

The three richest people in the United States, according to Forbes, as of 10/01/2024.

1. Elon Musk (Tesla, SpaceX, X/Twitter, USA) $244 billion

2. Jeff Bezos (Amazon, USA) $197 billion

3. Mark Zuckerberg (Meta/Facebook, USA) $181 billion

It was previously reported that, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Mark Zuckerberg is in fourth place on the list of the world’s richest people after Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and Bernard Arnault. Moreover, his fortune, according to Bloomberg, exceeded $200 billion.
