Ha Do Group has a new President and CEO

The Board of Directors of Ha Do Group has just appointed Mr. Le Xuan Long as Chairman and Mr. Nguyen Trong Minh as CEO.

After an extraordinary meeting last weekend, the general meeting of shareholders of Ha Do Group Joint Stock Company approved the dismissal of Mr. Nguyen Trong Thong from the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors. At the end of July, Mr. Thong asked for leave for reasons of age, health, as well as to ensure the law regarding related people. He is the founder and operator of Ha Do from the 90s to present.

Replacing Mr. Thong as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ha Do for the 2024 – 2029 term is Mr. Le Xuan Long. Born in 1970, Mr. Long holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from the University of Transport and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Griggs University (USA). He has also been with Ha Do for more than 20 years and serves as a member of the Board of Directors of this enterprise.

And Mr. Nguyen Trong Minh – son of former Chairman Nguyen Trong Thong – was appointed CEO of Ha Do. Previously, Mr. Minh worked as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Deputy General Director of Ha Do.

Ha Do was established in 1990, formerly a construction enterprise under the Military Technical Institute (Ministry of National Defense). In 2010, Ha Do transformed into a joint stock company model and listed on the stock exchange with the code HDG.

The company is doing business in many fields such as real estate, energy, and financial investment. In the field of real estate, Ha Do is the investor of many apartment buildings and urban areas such as Hado Charm Villas with a scale of 30 hectares in Hoai Duc district (Hanoi), Centrosa Garden with nearly 7 hectares in District 10 (HCMC). . In addition, this group also has 3 wind and solar power plants and 5 hydroelectric plants.

In 2024, Ha Do aims to continue mergers and acquisitions (M&A) of urban area projects and promote investment in industrial parks in the North in the provinces of Hung Yen, Thai Binh, and Nam Dinh. Last year, this group achieved revenue of more than 3,000 billion VND and profit after tax of more than 970 billion VND.
