Chemical company Kemira says that it will raise the prices of the products of its Pulp & Paper business segment in the Americas.
The magnitude of the price increases is 4–8 percent and they take effect on November 1 or when the contracts allow for increases.
According to Kemira, the price increases are necessary because, for example, the prices of raw materials and product transportation have risen.
Kemira’s business consists of two business areas. Pulp & Paper’s share of turnover is about 60 percent, and Industry & Water’s share is about 40 percent.
