Israel | In the summer of 2024, 22.4% more apartments were sold than from June to August 2023

The Central Bureau of Statistics publishes a report on real estate transactions for June-August 2024. According to this report, 24,360 apartments were sold during this period, which is 22.4% more than in the same period in 2023 and 4.6% more than in the period March-May 2024.

44.6% of sold apartments (10,870) are new apartments, 20.1% of them were sold under the state subsidy program. During the reporting period, 25.7% more apartments were sold than from June to August 2023 and 1.6% fewer new apartments than from March to May of this year.

55.4% of apartments sold over the summer of 2024 (13,490) are secondary market apartments, which is 19.8% more apartments than from June to August in 2023 and 10.2% more than in the previous three months.

In August, 7,250 apartments were sold, which is 3.1% more than in August 2023 and 18.8% less than in July of this year.
