Companies|Sweden’s problems weigh on Kamux’s results.
Used ones Kamux, which sells cars, warns that this year’s result will be weaker than expected.
The reason for this, according to the company, is particularly bad business in Sweden.
According to Kamux, its sales in Sweden have been lower than expected, which has caused a business loss.
Kamux now estimates that its adjusted operating profit in 2024 will remain at 15–17 million euros, while it had previously predicted that the operating result would reach 18 million euros.
Company says in its press release that the corrections made due to abuses detected in Sweden in the latter half of last year have had a greater impact on its sales than expected.
According to Kamux, its realized external turnover in Sweden in July–September was around EUR 45 million, compared to EUR 57.3 million in the same period a year earlier.
Because of this, the adjusted operating result in Sweden is significantly loss-making, which weakens the entire group’s result.
According to the company, several measures have been implemented in Sweden to improve productivity and efficiency, but they will only have a positive effect on earnings next year.
Kamux will announce its July–September results on November 8.
