Transport company Eutraco takes over Decathlon depot in Willebroek and is looking for 45 employees (Willebroek)

The transport company takes over a Decathlon distribution center in Willebroek that is closed by the retail chain. “When we heard that the distribution center was becoming available, we didn’t hesitate for a moment,” says Serge Gregoir, CEO of Eutraco, in a press release. “The expansion with this storage space (of almost 60,000 square meters) is more than necessary to further support the growth of our logistics services.”

The vacancies are mainly for logistics employees. Decathlon employees can also still apply.

At least 6 employees transferred

A collective labor agreement regarding the closure of the Decathlon depot was concluded at the end of September. Of the 131 employees, 25 to 30 would work elsewhere at Decathlon and 6 had already chosen to switch to Eutraco, it was said at the time.

Eutraco, founded in 1967, has 15 sites in Belgium. The company employs 470 people on a permanent basis.
