SRV’s operating profit decreased

Construction company SRV has 95 unsold ready-made apartments, according to the latest interim report. The company’s CEO Saku Sipola considers the number to be small, and there has been no attempt to sell apartments with particularly strong discounts in the situation of the weakest demand.

SRV is still waiting for a turnaround in the construction of new apartments. The activation of demand is slowed down by the comparatively abundant supply of new owner-occupied and rented apartments, which, however, is already melting.

SRV’s operative operating profit fell to 4.5 million euros in July–September from 4.6 million euros in the comparison period.
