EASA has extended its recommendation to “carefully weigh flights to Israel” until the end of November.

The European Civil Aviation Agency (EASA) has extended its advice to airlines to “carefully consider every flight to Israel” until the end of November.

Let us recall that in early October EASA issued a recommendation to refrain from flying to Israel, but in the middle of the month, under pressure from the Israeli Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation Authority, it changed the wording.

Despite this, the vast majority of European airlines continue to delay their return to Israeli routes.

Just the day before, Greek airline Aegean and Dutch airline Transavia delayed their return until December 1st.

Azerbaijan Airlines will not return to Israel until at least November 17th.
