Dubai: Hamdi Saad GMG operates 6 advanced factories in Dubai, covering the production of meat, seafood, pink salt, herbs and spices, sausages and chilled meat. Muhammad Ali Baqir, Vice Chairman and CEO of the company, said: The total production capacity of these facilities is about 35 thousand metric tons annually, in addition to an additional 11 thousand metric tons of herbal and spice products. Baqir, who was speaking on the sidelines of the Gulfood Manufacturing Exhibition in Dubai, added that this large local manufacturing capacity is in line with the “Make in the Emirates” initiative and the National Food Security Strategy 2051. He explained that the company seeks to expand globally, through its food portfolio.
