The CEO of YPF received the recognition of “Distinguished Alumnus” 2024 from the University of Texas

In Austin, the president and CEO of YPF, Horacio Marín, received the 2024 Distinguished Student recognition as a graduate of the “Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering” program at the University of Texas.

The “Distinguished Student” award given by said House of Studies recognizes alumni who have achieved significant goals in their careers and/or have provided service to the University.

On his social networks, Marín thanked the recognition: “It is a testimony of the work and dedication I put into my career professional” and added: “I want to thank my family, colleagues, mentors and friends who have been accompanying me throughout these years.”

It should be noted that Horacio Marín is a chemical engineer graduated from the University of La Plata obtained his Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 1994 and in 2009 participated in the Stanford University Executive Program at the School of Business.
