In Israel, investment in AI is 3-4 times higher than in the US and Europe

According to nonprofit Startup Nation Central, AI startups are outperforming non-AI startups. The volume of investments in the field of AI in Israel is 3-4 times higher than in the United States and Europe, and investors include such technology giants as Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Meta, NVIDIA, Apple and others.

According to the economic publication Calcalist, despite the fact that AI companies make up only 30% of the startup ecosystem, they account for 47% of total investment. Since 2014, the number of such companies has grown by 173%, which significantly exceeds the growth of non-AI companies.

AI startups perform better in raising seed capital, with only 32% of AI startups failing to raise capital, compared with 50% or more of startups in other sectors. And despite the decline in the number of new companies, AI remains a priority area for investment.

Since 2018, Israel’s share of AI investment has consistently exceeded that of the United States and Europe, sometimes by three or four times. And despite the recent surge in AI investment in the US due to a number of notable deals, Israel maintains its unique competitive position in the field globally.
