Juhana Brotherus nominated for the board of Oma Säästöpankki

My Savings Bank the shareholders’ nomination committee proposes that eight members be elected to the company’s board of directors. The company will hold an extraordinary general meeting on December 10.

According to the nomination committee’s proposal, new members would be elected to the board Juhana Brotherus, Irma Gillberg-Hjelt, Carl Pettersson, Kati Riikonen and Juha Volotinen.

Current members Aki Jaskari, Jaakko Ossa and Jaana Sandström are running for re-election.

The prerequisite for the selections is that the Financial Supervisory Authority has no objections to the selections.

According to the invitation to the company’s extraordinary general meeting, all other candidates except Carl Pettersson are proposed for election at the 2024 extraordinary general meeting for the term that ends at the end of the 2025 annual general meeting. Pettersson’s season starts on January 1, 2025.

Due to the company’s exceptional situation, the nomination committee proposes to remove the obligation that was a prerequisite for receiving and paying a fixed annual bonus for the time being. According to the obligation, the board member previously had to commit to acquiring Oma Säästöpanki shares with 40 percent of his fixed annual fee.
